Welcome to Bike Forge – a one-of-a-kind biker-friendly destination in Tulbagh, Bike Forge is where classic motorcycles, great food, and unforgettable memories come together. Centered around an old-school bike workshop, we offer a relaxed atmosphere where like-minded people gather to talk shop over cold drinks and hearty meals. (Other peasants also welcome.)

Born from Freddie and Toni’s passion for bikes and real biker culture, Bike Forge evolved from a dusty barn full of vintage motorcycles into what it is today—a place built on “bikes, beer, and laughter.” Since opening at De Heuvel Estate in March 2020, we’ve grown into a hub for riders, friends, and free spirits.

Come explore our motorcycle museum, unwind in our glamping accommodation nestled in fynbos, or enjoy a meal at our laid-back bar & restaurant. We also host private functions, weddings, parties, and wakes—with exclusive use of the venue available by arrangement.

Bike Forge is proudly located in the charming rural village of Tulbagh, nestled in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains. A desirable destination in every season, Tulbagh offers visitors a peaceful escape just 90 minutes from Cape Town. It’s the perfect base for exploring the Cape Winelands, with rich history, scenic beauty, and local culture all around you.
